Men's Cross Country Ready For MAC Championship

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -
The Bowling Green State University men's cross country team will travel to Ypsilanti, Mich. On Saturday, Nov. 1, to compete in the 2008 Mid-American Conference Championships, hosted by Eastern Michigan University. The men's race will begin at 11 a.m. on Eagle Crest Golf Course.
Sophomore Chris Moody will be leading the men at the MAC Championships. Moody has worked hard this season tying his season-best time of 25:31 in the 8k at the Falcon Invite just two weekends ago.
The rest of the team looks strong as well after coming off a strong performance at home for the MAC Championship tune-up. Five of the runners tied their season best times in the 8k including sophomore Johnstone Kirui, 26:36, sophomore John Bernard, 27:44, sophomore Jeff Ehler, 27:56, freshman Ben Leininger, 28:21 and freshman Peter Miles 28:37.

From the East: I-94 west to Huron Street (Exit 183);Turn right at Huron Street and the entrance to the Golf course is 1 1/2 blocks down on the left hand side.


From the West: I-94 east to Huron Street (Exit 183);Turn left and head south on Huron Street. Continue over I-94 and course is located 1 1/2 blocks down on the left hand side.
