BGSU Finishes Season at Great Lakes Regional

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Bowling Green men's cross country team finished their season in Evansville on Friday morning at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional, placing 30th.
"Today tested us, as championship races should," said Rachel Rhynard, the associate head cross country and assistant track coach. "We're going to keep showing up and putting in the work. If we stay consistent and keep taking steps forward, the progress will come."
Against the best the region has to offer, Micah Bentley led BGSU with a 33:40.74 10K mark (156th) while Luke Lesseuer ran a personal best 33:58.21 (168th).
Owen Zuameyer finished 182nd at 34:22.38 and Luke Woolard at 202 nd (35:11.24). Close behind him was Bryce Weber (35:43.94, 206th). Isaak Rubley (36:15.66, 208th) and Wyatt Ulbricht (36:18.27, 209th) finished in tandem, rounding out the field for Bowling Green.
