BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's cross country team finished ninth at the Mid-American-Conference Championships, hosted by Eastern Michigan Universtiy.

The top finisher for the men was sophomore Chris Moody placing 48th with a time of 26:34. Freshman Johnstone Kirui was the next Falcon to cross the finish line with a time of 27:18, placing 54th. The next three scorers finished consecutively sophomore Jesse Smuda, 55th (27:26), sophomore Abraham Busienei, 56th 28:00 and senior Aaron Smuda, 57th 28:03. Sophomore John Brenard, 59th 28:23 and sophomore Jeff Ehler, 63rd 29:09, were the final finishers for the Falcons.
