Falcons Finish Eighth at Hoosier Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - After carding a 603 through 36 holes of action at Hoosier Invitational, the Bowling Green State university men's golf team sat in eighth-place in the 18-team field. That is where the Falcons would stay as the final round of competition was cancelled due to poor weather conditions.

BGSU opened the tournament with a 310, but improved by 17 shots in round two, firing a 293, the fourth-best second round in the tournament.
Individually the Falcons were led by senior Russell Goodwin who carded a 76-73. His second round was his best round of the 2007-08 season. He currently sits in 22nd in the 90-person field.
Also competing for the Orange and Brown were Matt Schneider (78-72, 30th), Jace Walker (79-73, 43rd), Trevor Spathelf (80-75, 64th) and John Powers (77-79, 67th).
