Falcons Finish Eighth at Cardinal Classic

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Bowling Green State University women's golf team carded a 36-hole score of 656 (327-329) to finish eighth at the Cardinal Classic, hosted by Ball State University. The host Cardinals won the event with a score of 620, followed by Longwood (624), Grand Valley State (626), Ferris State (628) and Indianapolis (635) to round out the top five.
Individually, two Falcons had impressive tournaments, both placing in the top-20 among the 68-person field. Senior Carley Hrusovsky fell one shot shy of finishing in the top ten, carding a 156 (80-76) to finish in a tie for 11th. Her 76 on day two was tied for the fourth-lowest round of the day.
Fellow classmate Jessica McCann fired back-to-back 80's for a 160 to place her in a tie for 20th.
Also competing for the Orange and Brown were Lauren Glew (172, T-50th), Lindsey Jonkhoff (173, T-52nd), Amanda Bader (173, T-52nd) and Marisa Glew (171, 49th) Marisa Glew competed as an individual, thus, not allowing her scores to count for the team.
Up next for BGSU is the Falcon Invitational, hosted by Bowling Green on April 21-22 at Stoneridge Golf Club.
