Softball to Hold Tryouts Sept. 4

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Head Coach Shannon Salsburg and the Bowling Green State University softball team will hold tryouts for students that are interested in being a member of the 2008-09 women's softball team. Tryouts are set for Thursday, Sept. 4 at 5:00 p.m. at the BGSU Softball Field.
To be eligible for tryouts, students must be a current full-time enrolled student at BGSU and must sign a waiver prior to tryouts. Waivers must be COMPLETED and READY to go at the start of tryouts. All students under the age of 18 must have the waiver signed by their parent or guardian.
All students that are interested are asked to contact Lani Southwell in the softball office via phone (419-372-7092) or e-mail (ldshaff@bgsu.edu) to obtain a wavier and let the coaching staff know you will be attending.
Interested students must show up to the tryout ready to play with appropriate attire and equipment.
The BGSU Softball field is located on Stadium Drive, northwest of Doyt Perry Stadium.
