Barnes Mentioned on Dan Patrick Radio Show as Heisman Candidate

Freddie Barnes Mentioned as Heisman Candidate on the Dan Patrick Show (Listen here)
Freddie Barnes, who leads the country in receptions (107), yards (1,176), receptions per game (11.9) and yards per game (130.7) was mentioned as a Heisman Trophy candidate this afternoon on the Dan Patrick Radio Show.
Barnes' 107 catches are 32 more than his nearest competitor and owns the school and MAC record for catches in a season, with at least three games remaining this year.
The Chicago Heights, Ill., native has broken the school record for catches in a game three times this year. He open 2009 with 15 catches versus Troy, had 17 grabs at Marshall and back on Oct. 10 he had 22 catches for 278 yards and three touchdowns in a 36-35 win at Kent State.
