New Technology To Enhance And Expand Game Day Experience
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University Athletics has announced a new video board for Doyt Perry Stadium. The project will be unveiled during the upcoming 2026 season. This marks an expansion of the previous board's footprint, allowing for new game day elements while elevating the fan experience at BGSU football games. With the renovation, Bowling Green's video board size moves up three spots in the MAC rankings, passing Buffalo, Ohio and Kent State after previously being in front of Ball State and Toledo.Ā Ā

"This project is a testament to our mission to enhance our fan experience within our venues," said BGSU Vice President of Athletics Strategy Derek van der Merwe. "We are looking forward to witnessing what the new technology will bring to our football game days and how the new video board will engage our fans in unique and exciting ways."Ā

The new video board at Doyt Perry Stadium will remain in the south end zone, but will expand the screen size to approximately 31 feet tall and 39 feet wide, extending the space to 960 by 1,200 pixels. The new video board will provide a more clear image to fans while allowing for more customizable data and information to be shared throughout a game. These changes will enhance the fan experience and allow for more information to be disseminated in real time to fans inside the venue.Ā Ā
