Falcons Ninth At Midway Point of MAC Championships

The Bowling Green State University women's golf team fired a 36-hole score of 716 on day one of the Mid-American Conference Championships to sit in ninth-place midway through the 72-hole event. The Falcons fired a 348 in round two, proving by 20 strokes from their round one score of 368.
Lauren Glew led all Falcons with a score of 170. After opening with an 89 in round one the sophomore fired an 81 in round two. Glew currently sits in a tie for 28th.
Megan Gormley, who was coming off a fourth-place finish at the Falcon Invitational two weeks ago, sits in 41st with a score of 179. The junior carded 89-90 on day one.
Rounding out the Falcon scores were Hannah Lambert, 183 (97-86, 42nd), Marisa Glew, 184 (93-91, 43rd) and Megan Bader, 188 (97-91, 44th).
Round three will take place on Saturday morning and the final round will begin on Sunday.
