Falcons Prepare to Host Dolores Black Invitational

BOWLING GREEN, OH - The Bowling Green State University (BGSU) Women's golf team is hosting the Dolores Black Invitational from April 11-12 at the Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio. This invitational marks the final tournament of the year before the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Championships for the Falcons.

FRIDAY, APRIL 10

Practice rounds start at 11 am.
A free Kids Clinic, hosted by the men's team, is at 4:30 pm, followed by a parent Q & A.

SATURDAY, APRIL 11

Round one of the tournament begins with the shotgun round at 11 am.

SUNDAY, APRIL 12

The final round begins at 10 a.m.
FREE chocolate and coffee at the hospitality tent near the clubhouse from 8 - 11 am.
There is a Fiesta on Five with a taco food truck and the Falcons fanatics at the fifth hole.
Along the course, you'll find bounce houses and food trucks.
The Kids Long Drive Contest from 11 am - 12:30 pm takes place in front of the public parking.
There will be a Kids Chip and Put Area near Hole One.
Kids golf clubs will be provided for all the events.
Spectator golf carts will be available for rent.

THE FIELD

BGSU is joined by one other MAC foe as Central Michigan is competing in the Invitational.
Detroit Mercy, Loyola, Niagara, Dayton, Xavier, Wisconsin-Green Bay and Northern Kentucky are all also competing in the Dolores Black Invitational.

UP NEXT

After the Dolores Black Invitational, the only tournament left on the calendar for the Falcons is the MAC Championship in Akron, Ohio. The tournament is from April 26-28 at the Firestone Golf Club.
