Falcons Remain Ninth in MAC Championships

NASHPORT, Ohio -
Despite playing with just four golfers, meaning all four scores would have to count no matter what, the Bowling Green State University women's golf team carded their best round of the Mid-American Conference Championships on day two (346). The Falcons remain in ninth at the MAC Championships with a 54-hole score of 1,062.Kent State leads the nine-team field with a score of 925. Eastern Michigan (954) and Western Michigan (983) round out the top three team scores.
As mentioned before, the Falcons had to play Saturday without the services of Megan Bader (injury) the Falcons No. 2 golfer. Despite that, they had their best day of the tournament.
Lauren Glew sits in a tie for 29th with a 54-hole score of 255. The sophomore shot 85 on Saturday afternoon.
Megan Gormley also shot 85 on day two and currently sits in 40th with a score of 264 (89-90-85).
Rounding out the Falcon scores are Marisa Glew, 271 (93-91-87) and Hannah Lambert, 272 (97-86-89).
The fourth and final round takes place on Sunday morning.
