Men's soccer program announces day-long training session
The Bowling Green State University men's soccer program will hold the 2009 College Soccer Academy for college-bound players on Saturday, August 1. The day-long event, for players in grades 9 through 12, will be held on the BGSU campus.

The inaugural event is part of a renewed effort to expose the region's top high-school-aged players to BGSU and its proud soccer tradition, as well as give participants a first-hand look at the collegiate environment.
Head coach Eric Nichols, assistant coach Paul Habrecht and other top collegiate coaches from around the Midwest will provide instruction at the academy, which will run from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Participants will get the chance to experience what it is like to train in a collegiate environment with high-level players and college coaches. The academy will include instruction in both team sessions and 11 v 11 settings.
