Doyt Perry Graphic Installed On Stadium West Side

The graphic is made up of 15 square panels that are each 41.25 inches long. The panels are organized in five horizontal rows and three vertical columns. The image is over 17 feet tall and 10 feet wide.
The panels display an image of Doyt Perry on one knee holding a football with three other images of him coaching in the background. The left side of the graphic features the words “Welcome To The Doyt”. The lower right hand corner of the image features the Bowling Green Falcon logo.
“The Coach Perry graphics have been planned for more than a year,” Bowling Green Athletics Director Greg Christopher said. “As we continue to make incremental improvements to our facilities, we try and add elements that celebrate our history. Doyt Perry is a Bowling Green icon so the prominent placement is a natural along with enhancing the look and feel of the stadium.”
Along with the Doyt Perry graphic, a large graphic of the Falcon logo has been placed near the top of the west side elevator shaft. It measures 96 inches high by 90.5 inches wide.
The new additions cost approximately $14,000 and were made possible by private donations, including gifts from former players of Doyt Perry.
