Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green athletic department has announced that Chad Young has been promoted from assistant athletic trainer to associate athletic trainer.
Young began his tenure with the Bowling Green athletic training staff in 1996 as a student and moved on to a graduate assistantship in the department. He then became a full-time member of the department in 2001.
“Chad displays loyalty, accountability and reliability to Bowling Green student-athletes on a daily basis,” Director of Sports Medicine/Head Athletic Trainer Doug Boersma said. “His athletic business knowledge and sense of urgency have been cornerstone qualities that describe his work ethic. He always find time to make himself available for his athletes and is more than willing to help out in other areas. He is my department's work-horse.”
Young works primarily with the men's and women's basketball and volleyball programs.
Women's basketball coach Curt Miller on Chad Young:
