Barnes & Sheehan to be Honored On-Court at Men’s Basketball Game on Wed. (Feb. 24)

Former Falcon football greats Freddie Barnes and Tyler Sheehan will be returning to the BGSU campus this Wednesday, Feb. 24 to be honored as part of halftime festivities at the BG-Kent State men's basketball game.
Barnes set a new NCAA single-season record with 155 receptions during the 2009 season, and of course Sheehan was on the other end of all of those en route to setting a laundry list of new school single-game/season and career records, including that for career offensive yards at 10,535.
Both will be recognized on-court for their accomplishments, and Barnes will be presented with the College Football Performance Award as the nation's Elite Wide Receiver for the 2009 season.
