The Bowling Green State University women's golf team will host the Falcon Invitational this weekend (Apr. 17-18) at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio. The 36-hole event will feature 11 teams.
The Field
Bowling Green, Cleveland State, Detroit, Eastern Illinois, Niagara, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, Toledo, Valpo, Western Michigan.
Note: With five MAC teams at this weekend's tournament, it is the largest MAC representation ever in the Falcon Invitational.
Format
36-hole Tournament
Saturday (Apr. 17) - 18 Holes - Shotgun Start
Sunday (Apr. 18) - 18 Holes - Tee Times off of 1 and 10 (Tee times will not be available until after Friday's round)
Both days will start at 9.m.

Last Week's Results
The Bowling Green State University women's golf team fired a final round score of 330 to finish 14th at the EKU Colonel Classic for a total score of 980 (327-323-330) in Richmond, Ky.
Morehead State won the tournament with a score of 905, followed by Memphis (909) and Arkansas State (913). Mid-American Conference schools Toledo (919) and Ohio (958) finished fourth and 10th respectively.
Susy Grunden entered Sunday in a tie for seventh among the 100-player field, but shot a final round, 84, to finish 28th. The freshman carded a 73-76 on Saturday afternoon.
Lauren Glew was the top Falcon on Sunday, carding a 79 in a second straight round. The junior finished in a tie for 54th with a total score of 245 (87-79-79). Also competing for the Orange and Brown were Hannah Lambert (252, T-81st), Marisa Glew (255, T-89th) and Amy Ruthenberg (260, T-95th).
Grunden Closing in on Record
BGSU freshman Susy Grunden will bring a 78.86 scoring average into the Falcon Invitational this weekend, which is currently the second lowest season scoring average in school history. Jenny Schnipke averaged 78.54 in 2003-04, which is the current lowest scoring average by a Falcon.
