Two Former Falcons Head to the Super Bowl

Everyone here at Bowling Green State University and www.bgsufalcons.com would like to congratulate Shaun Suisham and Diyral Briggs for helping their teams reach Super Bowl XLV in Dallas on Sun., Feb. 6.
More than 100,00 fans are expected to fill Cowboys Stadium for the game, and Fox will televise the game to an audience of more than 100 million in the United States. Worldwide, the game will be televised in more than 200 countries and available to approximately 1 billion potential viewers.
Suisham, a place-kicker for the Pittsburgh Steelers was a member of the Falcons from 2001-04. Suisham is the all-time scoring leader for the Falcons, with 361 career points. He also owns the school record for extra points attempted (233), extra points made (226) and field goals made (45).
Briggs, a linebacker for the Green Bay Packers was a member of the Falcons from 2005-08. Briggs finished his career with 26 sacks, the second-most in school history.
