Rodcliff Hall Earns All-MAC Honors

Bowling Green State University men's soccer standout Rodcliff Hall has been named to the All-Mid-American Conference Team, the league office announced Thursday (Nov. 10). Hall, a junior, was named to the all-league second team. The all-conference teams are the results of voting by the league's head coaches.

Hall a native of Samuel Prospect, Trelawny, Jamaica, started 17 of BGSU's 18 matches in his first year with the Falcons. The forward finished second on the team in scoring, with 10 points. Hall tied for second on the Falcons in goals, with four, and he added a pair of assists as well.
Hall is in his first year at BGSU after spending the last two years at Owens Community College. His first goal for the Falcons proved to be a game winner, in BG's 3-0 victory over IPFW on Aug. 31. Hall also scored the winning goal at Duquesne, finding the back of the net in overtime for a 1-0 win over the Dukes (Sept. 9).
Hall's other goals came in BGSU wins against Detroit (Sept. 21) and Florida Atlantic (Oct. 2). He had assists on goals by freshman Danny Baraldi at both Pittsburgh (Sept. 11) and Wright State (Nov. 1).
Hall played a total of 1261 minutes in 2011. He led the Falcons with 53 total shot attempts, and was second on the team with 20 shots on goal. Hall tied Baraldi for the BG lead with two GWG.
Hall now has totals of 39 goals and 86 points in his collegiate career to date.
The Falcons finished the season with a 7-8-3 overall record, and BGSU went 1-4-1 in league play.
