Williamson, Yu Named Papa John's Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Papa John's Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are hockey player Bryce Williamson and swimmer Vicky Yu.
Male Athlete of the Week
Bryce Williamson, a sophomore from Seba Beach, Alberta, scored his team-leading sixth goal of the season in Saturday night's shootout win over Miami. He also scored the only goal of the shootout, helping the Falcons break their six-game CCHA losing streak.
Female Athlete of the Week
Vicky Yu, a senior from Shenyang, China, swept the butterfly events for the second time this season in BGSU's dual meet at Akron Friday. She won both the 100 and 200 fly, coming from behind to win the latter. She also swam the third leg on the Falcons' 400 medley relay team that won the event.
