February 21, 2011 | General, Ice Hockey, Women's Basketball
Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Papa John's Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are hockey player Andrew Hammond and women's basketball player Tracy Pontius
Male Athlete of the Week
Andrew Hammond, a sophomore goaltender from Surrey, British Columbia, stopped 17-of-19 shots taken against him in Friday night's 2-2 tie with Northern Michigan.
