Falcons to take on UDM in Motor City
Bowling Green State University men's soccer coach Eric Nichols has announced one change to his team's fall 2011 schedule. The Falcons' match vs. the University of Detroit Mercy, originally scheduled to be played in Bowling Green, has been moved to the Motor City.
BGSU and UDM will meet on September 21, with kickoff scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at UDM's Titan Field. The teams are tentatively scheduled to meet in Bowling Green during the 2012 season.
The road team has won each of the two series meetings since Nichols took the BGSU helm. The Titans rallied for a 3-2 overtime win over the Falcons at Cochrane Field in the 2009 season, with the Falcons winning a 1-0 decision in Detroit last fall.
