Switchfoot And Anberlin Coming To The Stroh Center

Bowling Green, Ohio – Bowling Green State University has announced that 2011 Grammy Award winner Switchfoot, along with the group Anberlin, will be co-headlining a concert in the Stroh Center on Oct. 5 at 7:00 pm.
The event will serve as one of two Ohio stops on Switchfoot's concert tour, which runs from August through November and the band will be releasing its new album, “Vice Verses”, just prior to the concert on Sept. 27.
Switchfoot won a Grammy Award in 2011 for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album with “Hello Hurricane”. Their song “Mess Of Me” peaked at No. 12 on the alternative chart and “The Sound” peaked at No. 18 on the same chart. Anberlin's single “Feel Good Drag” reached No. 1 on the alternative charts and broke the record for longest charting single ever at 56 weeks. Another of Anberlin's songs “Impossible” reached No. 5 on the alternative chart.
Tickets will go on sale on Aug. 13 at 10 am online at BGSUFalcons.com or www.ticketmaster.com and at the BGSU Ticket Office beginning on Aug. 15 at 9 am. Tickets will cost $25 and BGSU students will be able to purchase for $23. All tickets will be general admission seating.
The Stroh Center is the new home for Bowling Green State University men's and women's basketball and volleyball. The group Sanctus Real, along with Tenth Avenue North, will hold the first concert in the arena on Aug. 13 at 7 pm. Tickets can be purchased for that event through the BGSU Ticket Office.
