BGSU Hall Of Famer James Knierim Passes Away

James Knierim, a 1948 Bowling Green State University graduate and a 1970 inductee into the BGSU Athletics Hall of Fame, passed away Saturday after a battle with cancer.
Knierim played football, basketball and baseball at Bowling Green, earning All-Ohio honors on the 1945 football team. He was also part of the supporting cast on Harold Anderson's basketball teams that featured Donald and Mac Otten, as well as Charles Share.
