James, Tonyan Named Pizza Hut Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Pizza Hut Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are soccer player Ryan James and volleyball player Danielle Tonyan.
Male Athlete of the Week
Ryan James, a freshman from Mississauga, Ontario, scored two goals, including the overtime winner, in a 3-2 victory over Wright State Tuesday. It was the first multi-goal game of his career and his first game-winer.
Female Athlete of the Week
Danielle Tonyan, a junior from McHenry, Ill., had 33 kills in two matches as the BGSU volleyball team won twice to move back into first place in the MAC. Tonyan hit .311 for the weekend and added 15 digs and three blocks.
