Crawford, Reuland Named Papa John's Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Papa John's Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are men's basketball player Jordon Crawford and tennis player Emily Reuland.
Male Athlete of the Week
Jordon Crawford, a junior from Cincinnati, Ohio, average 15.5 points and 7.0 assists as BGSU blew out a pair of MAC opponents this week, In a 72-48 road rout of Western Michigan, BGSU led by two at the half but Crawford had 13 points, seven assists and two steals in the final 20 minutes. In building a 41-16 halftime lead over Northern Illinois, Crawford had six points and six assists in the first half. He shot 65 percent from the field and made 3-of-5 three-pointers on the week.
Female Athlete of the Week
Emily Reuland, a sophomore from Oswego, Ill., went 4-0 on the weekend as the BG tennis team opened the home portion of its dual-match schedule. Reuland won both of her matches at No. 3 singles and at No. 3 doubles against Chicago State and UIC. She dropped just five games in two victories against Chicago State and only six games in a pair of wins over UIC.
