A few notes and numbers to enhance your visit
Bowling Green's Stroh Center is the site of NCAA Women's Basketball Championships First and Second Round action beginning Sunday (March 18). Here are a few items to enhance your March Madness experience.
TICKETS
Less than 100 standing-room-only seats remain for Sunday's (March 18) two first-round games, and fewer than 400 tickets, including standing-room-only tickets, remain for Tuesday night. Fans can purchase tickets in person at the BGSU Ticket Office inside the Stroh Center, online at ticketmaster.com, or by phone at 877-BGSU-TICKET (247-8842)
GATES
The gates will open at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, and one ticket is good for both games. Ohio State faces Florida in Sunday's first game, beginning at 12:15 p.m., and Baylor will meet UC Santa Barbara in the second game of the session. The two winning teams will advance to Tuesday's second round, with that game scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday night.
HALFTIME ACTS
The Bowling Green Junior Bobcat Girls Basketball program will play during halftime of Sunday's first game, with the Viking Magic Basketball Drill team out of Upper Arlington, Ohio performing during Sunday's second game. Tuesday's game will see the Hyperdogs Frisbee Dog Show perform at halftime.
PARKING
The cost to park will be $5 per car each day. For BGSU fans with season passes, Anderson Club parking passes will be honored. No other parking passes will be accepted. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, as Sunday's game is a sellout.
WHERE TO GATHER
Several restaurants have been designated as 'host' establishments for the four participating teams. They are as follows:
* Florida – Reverend's
* Baylor – Fricker's
* Ohio State – City Tap
* UC Santa Barbara – Jed's
SHUTTLE SERVICE
The Falcon Frenzy shuttle will allow fans to park at the Stroh Center and not have to worry about driving around town and battling traffic. The shuttle will run on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m, making stops at the Holiday Inn BG, Fricker's, the Stroh Center and the downtown BG area. The shuttle will be free to ride, and will be making the same continuous loop on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
