May 11, 2012 | Men's Golf
In a few months, Griffin Smith (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) will make his collegiate debut for the Bowling Green State University men's golf team. Right now, he is a defending Michigan Division II state champion who has been working through his senior year of high school.
Recently, Smith was profiled by Keith Dunlap of the Oakland Press for the high school sports website MIPrepZone.com. The story includes photos and video and is a positive insight into this future Falcon.
The entire story can be found here.
Smith is one of three players who signed national letters of intent last fall to join the BGSU golf team for the 2012-13 season. He will join Zac Brammer (Davison, Mich.) and Holden Pahr (Chardon, Ohio) in a group that will replace outgoing seniors Drew Preston, Parker Hewit and Bryan Mitchell.
