Softball Ready For Four Game Exhibition Series

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio. – The Bowling Green State University softball team has schedule four exhibition games for the fall of 2012, all at the friendly confines of Meserve Field. The Falcons will first play host to Owens Community College on Sept. 16, a doubleheader scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
The Orange and Brown then welcome the University of Findlay to Bowling Green for a two-game set on Sept, 22 (1 p.m.), before taking on Saginaw Valley State in another twin bill on Oct. 7 (1 p.m.). Bowling Green closes out the fall exhibition series with a doubleheader against the University of Detroit Mercy on Oct. 14, with the first pitch scheduled for 3 p.m.
The Falcons look to continue the success of the spring, after posting a record of 36-22, accounting for the biggest turn around in DI softball. Bowling Green earned a record of 11-5 at Meserve Field last season.
