Orange And Brown Scrimmage To Take Place Oct. 20

Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team will hold its annual Orange and Brown Scrimmage Saturday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. in the Stroh Center.
The Orange and Brown Scrimmage is open and free to the public and is the first opportunity for fans to see the 2012-13 Falcons.
BGSU will also host an exhibition game against Central State Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. before the regular season opener at home Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. against Lake Erie. The Falcons will play a total of seven non-conference home games during the year including a contest Dec. 18 against Michigan State at 7 p.m. BGSU will play a 16-game Mid-American Conference schedule before concluding the regular season at home against Buffalo either March 8 or 9. The MAC Tournament begins March 11.

Bowling Green went 16-16 a year ago and had victories over two NCAA Tournament teams in Temple and Ohio. The Falcons earned a berth to the postseason CollegeInsider.com Tournament (CIT), marking the program's second postseason berth in four years. BGSU returns three starters from that team, including second-team All-MAC player A'uston Calhoun.
