Comiskey, Halfhill Named Pizza Hut Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Pizza Hut Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are men's soccer player Ryan Comiskey and women's basketball player Jillian Halfhill.
Male Athlete of the Week
Ryan Comiskey, a senior from Grantville, Pa., scored four goals as BGSU posted a win and a tie last week. He had the first two-goal game of his career in Tuesday's 8-0 win over IPFW and then followed it up with two more in the Falcons' 3-3 double-overtime draw at West Virginia.
Female Athlete of the Week
Jillian Halfhill, a senior from Canfield, Ohio, led BGSU to a 2-0 start and a tournament title at the Iona Tip-Off Tournament. She had a game-high 18 points and five assists in a win over Michigan to start the season and then posted 10 points, including the game-winning lay-up with 16.8 seconds remaining, in a one-point win over Iona.
