Bowling Green Lands 11 On CSC Academic All-District At-Large Teams

Six BGSU Men And Five BGSU Women Named To At-Large Lists
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Tuesday afternoon (June 16), 11 members of the Bowling Green State University athletics department were named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Team At-Large Team, selected by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA). For Bowling Green, the Falcons had six men and five women earn the recognition across the at-large eligible sports.
On the men's side the Falcons had Quinn Emerson, Jaden Grant, Brody Waters and Breck McKinley make the list from hockey as well as Ethan Irvine and Angelo Luciani from men's golf. As for the women's side, Addison Kartusch, Macie Elzinga, Sammie Dolce, Ava O'Sullivan and McKenzie Miller from women's golf.
Sammie Dolce, Women's Golf, Junior, Supply Chain Management, 4.00 GPA
Dolce was a true leader for the Falcons, competing in every event on the season. Dolce is one of just four Falcons in program history to compete in multiple post-season tournaments. During the MAC Championship, Dolce placed third overall in the clubhouse.
Macie Elzinga, Women's Golf, Sophomore, Management, 3.88 GPA
Elzinga competed in every tournament for the Falcons on the season, the most memorable being the West Texas Classic, where she shot a season low 69 in round two, propelling her to finish first overall in the clubhouse for her first collegiate win. Elzinga is etched her name in the history books, becoming one of four Falcons in program history to compete in multiple postseason tournaments.
Quinn Emerson, Hockey, Graduate Student, MBA, 4.00 GPA
Appearing in all 36 games for the Falcons over the last season, Emerson led the Falcons with 33 points, scoring 10 goals with 23 assists. His season was highlighted by two goals and two assists in a pair of ties against Notre Dame, earning CCHA Forward of the Week. Emerson finished the season +11 as well.
Jaden Grant, Hockey, Senior, Individualized Business, 3.92 GPA
Playing in 35 of BGSU's 36 games, Grant won 57.4-percent of his faceoffs on the year. He added eight goals and four assists for 12 points over the course of the season. His eight goals included two-goal outings against both Lake Superior State (Oct. 24) and Ferris State (Nov. 15) on top of a short-handed goal against Ohio State
Ethan Irvine, Men's Golf, Senior, Sport Management, 3.92 GPA
Competing in six matches this year for the Falcons, including the MAC Championship, Irvine was a consistent member of the BGSU unit this season. Irvine's season concluded in the MAC Championships, finishing fifth on the team and 41st in the field.
Addison Kartusch, Women's Golf, Sophomore, Accounting, 4.00 GPA
Kartusch made history for the Falcons, becoming the first Falcon to ever win a postseason tournament. Kartusch helped lead the Falcons by winning two individual events on the season, becoming one of just four Falcons in program history to ever compete in multiple post-season tournaments. Kartusch also won two MAC Golfer of the Week awards in what was a historic season for the program.
Angelo Luciani, Men's Golf, Junior, Individualized Studies, 4.00 GPA
Competing in all 11 of BGSU's matches this season, Luciani proved to be a key piece in the success of the Falcons during the season. His campaign culminated in the MAC Championships, tying for third in the field, including a hole-in-one during the first round. He concluded the season with his best round of the tournament, becoming the first Falcon in last 20 years to log a top three finish.
Breck McKinley, Hockey, Junior, Finance, 3.96 GPA
Also appearing in all 36 games for the Orange and Brown, McKinley tallied 26 points with two goals and 24 assists. He finished the regular season second in the nation among defensemen for assists and eighth among defensemen for total points. McKinley added 28 blocked shots and a +13 mark to his stat line for the season.
McKenzie Miller, Women's Golf, Sophomore, Sales and Services Marketing, 3.89 GPA
In Miller's second year as a Falcon, she became one of just 10 Falcons to ever compete in a post-season tournament. Miller had a memorable tournament for the Falcons, shooting a season-best 73 in the first round of the Dolores Black Invitational, which propelled her to a sixth-place overall finish. Miller became a staple in the lineup for the Falcons and helped propel the program to a historic season on the course.
Ava O'Sullivan, Women's Golf, Senior, Chemistry, 3.71 GPA
The longest-tenured Falcon in the program wrapped up her historic career competing in the National Golf Invitational. O'Sullivan became one of four Falcons in program history to compete in multiple postseason tournaments. O'Sullivan competed in 10 of 11 tournaments on the season. Her most memorable was the Dolores Black Invitational, where she finished fourth overall, propelling the Falcons to a tournament win.
Brody Waters, Hockey, Junior, Economics, 4.00 GPA
Competing in all 36 games for Bowling Green, Waters registered seven goals and eight assists for a total of 15 points on the year after being a preseason All-CCHA selection. Waters ended the year +5 with 24 blocked shots for the Orange and Brown. Of his seven goals, two came against Ferris State on Nov. 15.

The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
