BGSU Men’s Hoops Ranked in the Top-20 in a Number of NCAA Statistical Categories

Bowling Green NCAA Statistical Rankings
Indianapolis, Ind. – The Bowling Green State men's basketball team is ranked in the top-20 nationally among a number of defensive categories in the latest NCAA Division I Men's Basketball statistical rankings released on Monday, Dec. 16.
The Falcons are ranked in the top-20 nationally in four defensive categories – blocked shots per game, steals per game, total blocks and total steals.
Bowling Green is currently ranked 12th overall in blocked shots per game with an average of 6.7 swats per contest and 15th in the nation in steals per game with an average of 9.4 thefts per game.
BGSU is also ranked 16th in the nation overall in both total blocks with 67 and in total steals with 94 on the year.
Individually, junior forward Richaun Holmes is ranked 11th in the nation in total blocks (35) and 12th in blocked shots per game (3.50).
BGSU (5-5) will next be in action at home on Sunday, Dec. 22, as the Falcons will host the Detroit Titans at 2 p.m. in the Stroh Center.
