Men's Soccer Falcons Begin Fall Camp

The Bowling Green State University men's soccer program has officially embarked upon the 2013 preseason. After several organizational meetings on Wednesday (Aug. 14), head coach Eric Nichols and the Falcons held the first practice of the preseason on Thursday morning (Aug. 15).

Nichols begins his fifth season at the helm of the Falcons, and welcomes back a total of 13 letterwinners, including nine starters, from last year's team that tied for fourth in the Mid-American Conference.
The Falcons' first test of the 2013 season will be a scrimmage at home against Cincinnati on Saturday night, Aug. 24. Then, the Brown and Orange will open the regular season with a pair of Labor-Day-weekend matches at Cochrane, taking on Malone on Aug. 30 and Michigan on Sept. 2. Again this season, all of the Falcons' home matches will be held under the lights, with every men's soccer contest at Cochrane scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
