Dufour, Cadel Named Pizza Hut Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Pizza Hut Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are hockey player Kevin Dufour and women's soccer player Lauren Cadel.
Male Athlete of the Week Lauren Cadel, a redshirt sophomore from Newmarket, Ontario, posted a career-high in saves for the second consecutive week and stopped a total of 24 shots in two BGSU women's soccer victories. Cadel had a career-best 14 saves in the Falcons' 2-1 come-from-behind win over Ohio and then added 10 more saves in a 1-0 win over Kent State. It is the first time BGSU women's soccer has won back-to-back MAC contests since 2010.

Male Athlete of the WeekKevin Dufour, a sophomore from Quebec City, Quebec, tallied three goals to help the Falcons sweep Alabama Huntsville over the weekend. The left-handed winger placed six shots on goal and totaled a plus-1 on-ice rating against the Chargers, helping the Orange and Brown take four points in the league standings. Dufour has an NCAA-leading six goals on the season and has scored in each of the team's four games.
