Falcons Earn NSCAA Team Academic Award Again

BGSU achieves this honor for the fifth consecutive year
The Bowling Green State University men's soccer program has earned an academic honor from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. The Falcons have received the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2013-14 academic year, the NSCAA office announced recently.
The NSCAA Team Academic Award is given to soccer programs that have achieved a minimum team grade-point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
The Falcons of head coach Eric Nichols were recognized for the fifth consecutive season, with a team GPA of 3.17 in 2013-14. Nichols' team was recognized for the fifth consecutive season, and the men's soccer Falcons made the list for the seventh time overall.
A total of 883 college soccer teams (287 men, 596 women) across all divisions posted a team GPA of 3.00 or higher and were honored by the NSCAA this season.
