Softball Forced To Change Location For MAC Opening Weekend

The Falcons will head to Northern Illinois to play the Huskies and Broncos over the weekend.
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Due to impending weather and unplayable field conditions, the Bowling Green State University softball team's home opening Mid-American Conference weekend has been moved to Northern Illinois University. The Falcons, who were originally scheduled to host Western Michigan and NIU at Meserve Field this weekend, are now tentatively scheduled to play a single game against the Huskies on Friday beginning at 4 p.m., while Saturday's contest is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. The Orange and Brown will conclude the weekend with a doubleheader against Western Michigan on Sunday at Mary M. Bell Field, which is set to begin at 10 a.m.
