Narro Tabbed MAC Men’s Golfer of the Week

Cleveland, Ohio – Bowling Green State University men's golfer Jose Narro was tabbed the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Men's Golfer of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Thursday.
BGSU's Narro picked up his first intercollegiate win this week at The Greenbrier Collegiate Invitational held at The Old White TPC Course at the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia. Narro posted rounds of 70, 67 and 69 to shoot tournament low score of 206, -4 under par. The freshman was the lone player to finish under par for the two-day event and won eight strokes.
Narro's second round 67 was tied for the lowest individual 18-hole score over the three-rounds of play, while he also was tied for the tournament lead with both 11 birdies and 36 pars.
The medalist also led the tournament field in par-5 scoring (4.50, -3) and in par-4 scoring (4.03, +1), while also ranking second in par-3 scoring (2.83, -2). The first-place finish marks his third top-10 finish of the year.
