This spring season, the BGSU Athletic Communications office, along with both the men's and women's golf teams, will bring you a segment called "18 questions with" each week. This week's 18 questions are with freshman Mikayla Baer.

1. What is your hometown?

Elmore, Ohio

2. What is your favorite movie?

The Avengers

3. What is the most played song now on your IPOD?

"Mr.Brightside" – The Killers

4. What do you like to do in your free time?

Catch up on TV shows and hang out with friends.

5. Where is your favorite place to hang out at in BG?

Is my futon an acceptable answer?

6. If you could have any superpower, what would you choose?

Either the ability to fly or invisibility, actually both.

7. When do you first start playing golf?

I was 11 years old.

8. Who got you started playing golf?

My Dad.

9. What has been your favorite course to play?

Kearny Hill in Lexington, Kentucky.

10. What is the toughest place you have ever played at?

Probably the Hawthorns or the Kampen Course at Purdue.

11. What is your routine or ritual prior to playing a round of golf?

I don't really have one.

12. What is the best advice you've ever received?

Have the courage to go in the direction of your ambitions.

13. Who is your favorite golfer?

Phil Mickelson

14. Why did you choose to attend BGSU?

I loved the school and Coach's enthusiasm. It seemed like the type of program I wanted to be a part of.

15. What is your major of study?

Biology

16. What has been your favorite class at BGSU?

Women's Studies

17. What do you want to do after you graduate?

Travel! And continue my education.

18. What is your favorite golf memory at BGSU?

Running up to Patricia (Holt) after she shot 73 at the MAC Championship this year.
