The Falcons finished the year with seven top-five team finishes, highlighted by a team win at the Jon P. Spiess Memorial Tournament and third-place finishes at the Cardinal Classic, the Golden Grizzlies Invitational and the Women's Mid-American Match Play Challenge. The Falcons also turned in a team-low round of 296 at both the Cardinal Classic and the Rio Verde Invitational events, which was tied for the fourth lowest 18-hole team score in BGSU history.
BGSU's 54-hole score of 918 at the 2015 Rio Verde Invitational in March ranked as the second lowest 54-hole team score in BGSU women's golf history, while the Falcons' three-round combined score of 936 at the Rocket Classic in the fall was tied for the ninth lowest 54-hole score in the women's golf record books.
The 2014-15 squad broke into the top-three of the BGSU record books in single season stroke average with a 311.30 team stroke average of the season, highlighted by seniors Shelby Wilson and Patricia Holt's career low single season stroke averages.
Individually, Holt made history by finishing as the individual runner-up medalist at the 2015 MAC Women's Golf Championships, posting the highest individual finish by a Falcon at the conference championship event. Holt's second-place finish not only bested the Falcons' previous best finish by just one spot, as Jenny Schnipke took third-place overall in 2004, but it also earned her a spot on the All-MAC Tournament Team.
Freshman Madelynn Swank registered an individual tournament win at the Jon P. Spiess Memorial Tournament, while Mikayla Baer took second-place at the event. The Falcons would total 13 top-10 individual finishes on the season overall.
Wilson's team-low season stroke average of 77.20 was the second single season stroke average in BGSU history, while Holt's average of 77.60 ranks third all-time in the annals of BGSU history.
Junior Hannah Lewis posted the lowest round of the season for the Falcons with a 72 twice, once at the Cardinal Classic and a second time at the Golden Grizzlies Invitational, while seniors Holt and Wilson each shot a round of 72 once on the year, both coming in spring competition.
BGSU's round of 306 on day two of the 2015 MAC Women's Golf Championships tied the lowest team score over 18-holes of play for the Falcons in its MAC Championships history set just one year ago in the second round of play at the 2014 championships. The Falcons three-round combined score of 956 at the 2015 MAC Women's Golf Championships was the lowest ever 54-hole team score for BGSU at the MAC Women's Golf Championships, eclipsing the previous mark of 957 set in 2013.
