BGSU's next scheduled game is Wednesday at home vs. Cleveland State

The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team's trip to Brookings, S.D., and Sunday's (Dec. 18) scheduled game against South Dakota State University have been canceled. The game will not be made up during the 2016-17 season.

The Falcons were scheduled to depart on Saturday morning (Dec. 17), flying from Detroit to Chicago to Sioux Falls, S.D. But, after the team arrived at Detroit Metro Airport, the Detroit-to-Chicago flight was canceled due to wintry weather conditions. No other flights were available later Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

The Falcons' next scheduled game is Wednesday evening (Dec. 21), as BGSU will host Cleveland State University in the first of four-straight games at the Stroh Center. Tipoff for the CSU contest is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. BG then will host Malone University on Wednesday, Dec. 28, before opening Mid-American Conference play vs. Ohio University on Saturday, Dec. 31.
