Pohlkamp Earning Points early in Professional Career

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – After a successful senior season and strong playoff push, Bowling Green hockey's Matt Pohlkamp has signed a professional hockey contract with the Toledo Walleye of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL).
A native of Baxter, Minn., Pohlkamp made his debut with the Walleye on Friday night, and scored his first professional goal in an 8-2 victory over the Florida Everblades on Saturday. Adding to his early success, Pohlkamp marked his first assist in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Norfolk Admirals Sunday afternoon, lifting him to one goal and one assist for two points and a plus-2 rating through his first three games played.
