BGSU Athletics and the BGSU Learning Commons Give Back during Finals Week

Bowling Green, Ohio – The BGSU Athletics Department and the BGSU Learning Commons, in Jerome Library, partnered during finals week to provide a much-needed break for students the day before finals started.

Every year, Jerome Library puts on many activities to reduce stress for students studying for finals, and this year BGSU Athletics joined in. On the day exams started, BGSU Athletics gave out free pizza, soda, and coffee to students for a mini study break. During the breaks, students could interact with administrators and coaches from various sports teams.

"The Learning Commons and the Jerome Library truly appreciate the support of the Falcon athletic coaches and administrators in making our Finals S.O.S. event special for all of the students preparing for their final exams," Mark Nelson, Director of the Learning Commons, said. "As a former Falcon student-athlete, I am proud to see athletics participating is such a great event."
