CLEVELAND, Ohio – On Thursday (Sept. 7) afternoon, the Mid-American Conference announced the 2017-18 men's basketball conference schedule. The Falcons will play a total of 18 MAC contests, with nine games slated to be hosted inside of the Stroh Center. With the announcement of BGSU's non-conference schedule in August, the entire 2017-18 schedule has now been announced.
Season tickets are on sale now. Fans can purchase tickets by clicking the link above, or by visiting the ticket office at the Stroh Center. Fans can also call 877-BGSU Ticket today. For the second-straight season, season ticket prices have not changed.
At home, Bowling Green will face East-rivals Miami, Ohio, Kent State, Akron and Buffalo, with cross-divisional contests against Northern Illinois, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan. On the road, BGSU will face all five East Division opponents, as well as Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois, Toledo and Ball State.
The Falcons open up conference play against Miami on Jan. 2 at the Stroh Center at 7 p.m. BGSU then heads to Eastern Michigan for a game on Jan. 6, before returning to Bowling Green on Jan. 9 to face Northern Illinois at 7 p.m.
Bowling Green will continue conference play with consecutive road games at Akron (Jan. 13) and Miami (Jan. 16). After a home game versus Central Michigan on Jan. 20 at 3:30 p.m., BGSU will yet again play back-to-back road games at Northern Illinois (Jan. 23) and Toledo (Jan. 27).
The Orange and Brown will then play four of its next five games at the Stroh Center, beginning with a Jan. 30 ballgame versus Ohio at 7 p.m. Kent State comes to town on Feb. 3 to battle the Falcons at 3:30 p.m., prior to a trip to Muncie on Feb. 6 to take on Ball State.
The Falcons are set to clash with Eastern Michigan on Feb. 10 at 4 p.m., before welcoming Western Michigan to the Stroh Center on Feb. 13 for a 7 p.m. ballgame. On Feb. 17, the Falcons will make a trip to Buffalo, but the Orange and Brown will quickly return back to BGSU for a 7 p.m. tip versus Akron on Feb. 20.
On Feb. 24, Bowling Green will travel to Kent State for a 6 p.m. game that will be aired live on CBS Sports Network. More details on the MAC Television package, which will feature five wildcard TV selections with 21-day selection windows, will be announced at a later date.
Bowling Green will then conclude the regular season with an away contest at Ohio (Feb. 27), prior to a Senior Day contest versus Buffalo on March 2 at 6 p.m. Bowling Green's entire 2017-18 schedule is listed below.
