BGSU Men's Golf Inks Dylan Fitchet To NLI

Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's golf program has secured its first commitment for the class of 2019, signing Dylan Fitchet to a National Letter of Intent. Fitchet will join the Falcons during the 2019-20 season.
Fitchet is from North Kingsville, Ohio and attended Edgewood High School in Ashtabula, Ohio where he recently finished second at the OHSAA Division II State Championship, earning All-State Honors. He claimed medalist honors at the District Championship, which qualified him for the State Finals.

Also, during this past high school season, Fitchet finished under par in 12-of-14 matches throughout the 2018 high school season, carrying a nine-hole average of 33.7.
He was the two-time All-American Conference (Ohio) Player of the Year at Edgewood High School.
Outside of his high school season, he finished 2018 with a 75.7 average in his nationally-ranked events, highlighted by a second-place finish at HJGT College Prep Series with scores of 74-69-68.

The Falcons are coming off a strong fall season in which they finished no worse than seventh in the five tournaments they competed in. BGSU Men's Golf will begin its spring season on Feb. 11-12 when they take part in the Earl Yestingmeier Match Play vs Ball State in Dade City, Florida.
