Vie Named MAC Men's Golfer of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Mid-American Conference office announced on Thursday (Sept. 13) afternoon that Rodrigue Vie, a sophomore on the BGSUÂ men's golf team, has been named the MAC Men's Golfer of the Week. For Vie, the honor comes on the heels of being named the MAC Men's Scholar Athlete of the Week on Sept. 12. That release can be found by clicking RIGHT HERE.
Rodrigue Vie shot -7 over three rounds this past weekend at the Fuzzy Zoeller Invitational to finish fourth out of 75 golfers at the event. His 67-73-69-209 was the top BG result and he led the team to a third place finish out of 13 teams, including defeating MAC rival Toledo.
Vie and the Falcons will be back in action over Sept. 17-18 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi at the Sam Hall Intercollegiate.
