Schaub, Seimet Named Jet's Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Jet's Pizza Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are cross country runner Noah Schaub and volleyball player Kallie Seimet.
Male Athlete of the Week
Noah Schaub, a senior from Uniontown, Ohio, was once again the first Falcon to cross the finish line, this time at the John McNichols Invitational. He came across in seventh place with a time of 25:14.9, including a pace of 5:05. In all three of this year's races, Schaub has been the first BGSU runner to finish, setting the pace for the rest of the team.
Female Athlete of the Week
Kallie Seimet, a senior from Oregon, Ohio, was named MVP of the BGSU Invitational after leading the Falcons to a 3-0 record and tournament championship. Seimet averaged 7.60 digs per set and had just two reception errors on the weekend, to go with two service aces. She had 35 digs in the team's four-set win over Marshall, as well as a perfect serve receive percentage on 20 attempts, and followed that up with 27 in a three-set sweep of IUPUI, before finishing with 14 against Nicholls State.
