BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team welcomes the highest ranked men's team to ever play in the Stroh Center Friday night when the Falcons and No. 18 Buffalo square off with first place in the Mid-American Conference on the line. The game is set to tip at 8:00 pm and will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.

Buffalo enters the game at 19-2 overall and 7-1 in MAC play, while Bowling Green is 14-6 overall and 6-1 in the MAC, winners of 10 of the last 11 contests. The winner of the game will be the only team in conference play with one loss or less. Every other team in the MAC enters the weekend with at least three losses.

National Anthem: The National Anthem will be sung by former BGSU student Danny Carder.

Chalk Talk: Assistant coach Anthony Stacey will give insight into the game at 7:30 pm in the Hall of Fame area. This is open to all fans who would like to attend.

Pink Rally Towels:Â The first 250 fans to enter the through the main entrance of the Stroh Center will receive pink rally towels, courtesy of Kroger, for breast cancer awareness.

Pop Sockets: The first 250 students to arrive at the student section will receive BGSU logo pop sockets.
Â
T-shirts: The first 200 students to arrive at the student section will receive orange Beat Buffalo / Protect The Stroh t-shirts.

Bill Frack Rally Towels: The first 100 students to arrive at the student section will receive Bill Frack Rally Towels.

Pizza: Free pizza and soft drinks, courtesy of President Rodney Rogers, will be given to students at the student section beginning at 7:30 pm.

Falcons Fighting Hunger: Any fan who brings a non-perishable food item will receive a voucher for one ticket to an upcoming home basketball or hockey game, excluding any Toledo or postseason contests.

Meserve Cup: Friday night is a Meserve Cup contest for BGSU's student-athletes.

RESIDENCE LIFE PROMOTIONSÂ
The office of Residence Life is holding the following promotions. Full details and contest rules available by CLICKING HERE.
Greek Parlor Fee Scholarship: The Office of Residence Life will be awarding $500 to the highest-percentage attending Greek organization at the game.
Falcon Outfitters Gift Card: 10 students from each residence hall who attend the game will win a $25 Falcon Outfitters Gift Card.
Guaranteed Single Bedroom and $1,150 Off: One student will be guaranteed a single bedroom, in the hall of their choice, for the 2019-2020 academic school year. PLUS, they will receive $1,150 off the price, making it the same price as a double bedroom.Â
Most Spirited Organization: The most spirited organization at the game will receive $500 from the Office of Student Affairs.
Fan Tailgate: A fan tailgate will take place at 6:00 pm outside the North Ticket Lobby at the Stroh Center. Chili and fixings, and soft drinks, will be provided. Fans are encouraged to bring additional snacks, but all are welcome to attend free of charge.

Senior Night: The men's cross country team will be recognized at halftime for their Senior Night. The team finished as MAC runner-up during the fall campaign.

Halftime Mascot Basketball Contest: Freddie and Frieda will compete against mascots from Jet's Pizza and Buffalo Wild Wings.

- 50/50/50 Half court Shot (one student chosen) in which one student will attempt a half court shot for $200. If there is not a winner, that money will roll over to the next game and $50 will be added to the pot
- Coca Cola putt (one student chosen) for free Coke for a year
- Glass City Federal Credit Union shootout (one student chosen); A student will have the opportunity to make a lay-up, free-throw and three-pointer in 24 seconds for a $50 gift card
- Dave's Running Shoe Out (two students selected to compete); Two students will compete through a gauntlet of obstacles for a $25 gift card to Dave's Running
