- Cameron Wright tallied his second goal in as many games in the win. He continues to lead the roster with eight goals so far this season. He is just one goal away from matching his total from his previous two seasons.
- Alex Barber lit the lamp for the first time this season to open the scoring for BGSU. With one goal and nine assists, he is just behind Alec Rauhauser and Connor Ford on the roster in total points (11 each).
- Max Johnson recorded a pair of assists to post his second multi-point performance of the season so far. This was the 20th multi-point performance of his career.
- With this win Bowling Green earned their first WCHA series sweep of the season, gaining a full six points in conference play. This was also the first in conference sweep of the Ty Eigner era. As of now BGSU sits tied for fourth in the WCHA standings.
Coach Ty Eigner's Take
- On making good adjustments to add to the lead in the third period, "The message was we have to try to get back to playing like we did in the first period. Alaska Anchorage came out and out played us in the second period. The message was lets relax and make the plays we made in the first period that allowed us to have success".
- On Eric Dop's performance, "Eric Dop was really good all weekend. In the first period he didn't have a lot of work, and then in the second period when they had a push he was really good. I'm really, really happy with how Eric played this weekend".
