27 Commit To BGSU Football For Early Signing Day

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University football coach Scot Loeffler announced the commitment of 27 student-athletes Wednesday for the 2020 class of recruits. Loeffler and his staff put together one of the highest rated classes in the Mid-American Conference and one of the highest-rated class in BGSU history.

SIGNING DAY CENTRAL
Of the 27 student-athletes who committed Wednesday, 22 (81 percent) hail from the BGSU footprint, an area of emphasis. More than half (14) come from the state of Ohio with four more from Illinois and two each from Michigan, Indiana and Florida. The Falcons added one student-athlete each from Alabama, Arkansas and Georgia.Â
BGSU signed five offensive linemen and five defensive backs, along with four defensive linemen. BGSU added three wide receivers, three tight ends and three linebackers. Finally, the Falcons gathered a pair of quarterbacks and running backs each.
Following the signings, Loeffler met with the media for a 20-minute press conference. Video from that press conference is embedded below.
