Bowling Green drops to 19-8 (11-3 MAC) with the loss. The Falcons are in second place in the Mid-American Conference with four games to go in the regular season. BGSU still controls its destiny for a MAC Championship and No. 1 seed in the 2019 MAC Tournament.
The Falcons had a two-point lead with 12 seconds remaining, but a Teyvion Kirk driving layup with six seconds to go sent the game into overtime. Bowling Green went 2-for-9 from the field in the extra session, allowing the Bobcats to steal the win.
Senior forward Demajeo Wiggins finished the game with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Wiggins pulled down his 1,000th rebound in the contest, and now has 1,240 points and 1,009 rebounds, joining Falcon legends Nate Thurmond and Cornelius Cash as the only members of Bowling Green's 1,000-point, 1,000-rebound club.
